The opportunity
We are looking for a Junior AI Prompt Developer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. In this role, you will be the bridge between our complex content policies and the artificial intelligence models that power our platform. You will translate intricate guidelines into precise, actionable prompts that help our systems interpret information accurately. This is a unique chance to work at the intersection of policy, linguistics, and machine learning, ensuring our technology remains both effective and aligned with our evolving business needs.
A day in the life
- You will test and refine prompt performance by analyzing metrics and incorporating feedback from key stakeholders.
- You will collaborate closely with our Policy, Legal, and Data Science departments to ensure our prompts are accurate and reflect our high standards.
- You will dive into data to perform root-cause analyses on misclassifications, using your findings to identify policy gaps and suggest data-driven improvements.
Who you are
You are a clear communicator who enjoys simplifying complex ideas for a variety of audiences. You have a sharp analytical mind and feel comfortable working with data to spot trends and solve problems. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and ready to contribute to our mission.
Your background and skills:
- A degree in a field such as Linguistics, Communications, Policy, Social Sciences, Business, or a STEM discipline.
- Strong proficiency in English, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Experience or interest in technical writing, content moderation, data analytics, or research.
- A foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, specifically Large Language Models.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- The ability to thrive in a global environment, working effectively across different time zones.
