What’s the role?

We're seeking an exceptional AI Engineer to join our team and help drive innovation in how we leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance our rewards program, improve member experiences, and optimize our financial products.

In this role you will:

• Design and implement AI/ML solutions to optimize reward program offerings, personalization, and member engagement
• Develop predictive models for credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and transaction pattern analysis
• Create and maintain ML pipelines for real-time scoring and batch processing of member behavior data
• Build recommendation systems to personalize rewards and offers based on member spending patterns
• Implement natural language processing solutions for customer service automation and feedback analysis
• Collaborate with product and data teams to identify opportunities for AI implementation
• Monitor and optimize model performance, ensuring high accuracy and reliability
• Document technical specifications and maintain code quality standards

In terms of qualifications, we’re seeking: 

• Bachelor’s, Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• 4+ years of experience applying ML/AI in production environments
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with large-scale data processing and ML pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets
• Track record of deploying ML models to production
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Optional: Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)

Pay

At Bilt Rewards, we believe in transparency and we do our best to make sure the company and our candidates are on the same page as it relates to compensation. In addition to posting salary ranges for our open roles, candidates should expect to be asked about compensation expectations and requirements early on in their interview process. Our goal is to highlight when expectations and Bilt’s salary range may be out of sync, and work with the candidate to determine whether it makes sense to continue conversations.

We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process.

Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role.  As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range.  Bilt  rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.

The salary range for a AI Platform Engineer is $220,000-$260,000 and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance based bonus.
