AI Platform Engineer at Bilt Rewards

We have built the first loyalty program that rewards members for paying rent, whether they live in a condo, a co-op, or one of the 4 million apartments within our nationwide Bilt Rewards Alliance. By partnering with major industry players like Mastercard and Wells Fargo, we have created a ecosystem where members earn points on rent without transaction fees, which can then be transferred to travel partners, used for fitness, or even put toward a future home down payment. We are looking for a talented engineer to help us push the boundaries of how artificial intelligence and machine learning can further enhance these experiences for our members.

The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to join our team in New York. In this role, you will be at the heart of our technical innovation, designing and deploying sophisticated machine learning solutions that directly impact our rewards program and financial products. You will work closely with our product and data teams to turn complex data into actionable insights, ensuring our platform remains as intelligent as it is rewarding. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a key role in shaping the future of our AI infrastructure.

A day in the life

• You will design and implement robust machine learning pipelines to handle real-time scoring and batch processing of member behavior data.
• You will build and refine recommendation systems that personalize rewards and offers based on individual spending patterns.
• You will develop predictive models for credit risk assessment and fraud detection while implementing natural language processing solutions to automate and improve our customer service feedback loops.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a passion for building scalable AI systems. You communicate effectively in English and bring a strong technical background to our team, including:

• A Bachelor’s, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
• Expertise in Python and SQL, with a proven ability to work with large datasets.
• Deep familiarity with cloud platforms and the creation of efficient, large-scale data processing pipelines.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to document technical specifications while maintaining high code quality standards.
