AI ML Engineer at Coherent Solutions

With one of the world's largest IoT install bases, we support millions of homes and businesses by pushing the boundaries of video analytics and contextual automation. We are looking for a Senior AI ML Engineer to join our team in Moldova on a full-time basis to help us evolve our smart video technology and build the next generation of intelligent, AI-powered security features.

What you'll be doing

• You will design and develop sophisticated systems for video search and event summarization, while integrating LLMs to provide context-aware alerts.
• You will build and optimize robust machine learning pipelines for object detection and event tagging, ensuring high performance across our embedded devices.
• You will collaborate closely with our firmware and product teams to curate video datasets, annotate events for training, and implement automated model testing.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in AI and machine learning engineering. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python and deep familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Proven experience building distributed workflows using Apache Spark or Databricks.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud environments, specifically AWS or Azure.
• Solid background in Computer Vision, including object detection techniques like YOLO, SAM, and SSD.
• Experience with FastAPI, Docker, and CI/CD practices for production-grade code.
• Familiarity with LLMs and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain.
• Comfort working with dataset management and annotation tools like Label Studio or CVAT.
• An English proficiency level of B1 or higher to communicate effectively within our international team.
