The role

We are seeking a Senior AI Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing machine learning solutions that power our localization workflows and business processes. We are looking for an experienced professional who can take ownership of projects from the initial concept through to final deployment.

Core responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms, including those for machine translation, LLM fine-tuning, and quality assurance.
• Take full ownership of technical projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and maintain steady momentum from definition to successful delivery.
• Deploy and monitor production environments using AWS services, Docker, and MLFlow while optimizing model performance against our specific business goals.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in machine learning and a commitment to technical excellence. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• High proficiency in Python and deep experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Extensive knowledge of NLP techniques and machine learning algorithms, including deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, such as Sagemaker, EC2, and S3, as well as containerization using Docker.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to document your work and explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
