The role

We are seeking a mid-level AI Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. You will play a vital role in designing and implementing data-driven solutions that enhance our localization and business workflows. We are looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of projects and drive them from initial concept to successful delivery.

Core responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms, specifically focusing on machine translation, LLM finetuning, and quality assurance processes.
• Take full ownership of technical projects, ensuring they meet our high standards while maintaining momentum from definition through to final deployment.
• Implement, optimize, and evaluate machine learning technologies using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow to solve complex business challenges.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and a collaborative spirit. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a machine learning engineering role.
• High proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• A deep background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as D3, matplotlib, or bokeh.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
