AI Integrations Engineer at DFINITY

Our mission is to move the world's computing power onto the secure and decentralized Internet Computer network. By leveraging our unique third-generation blockchain technology, we enable the creation of unstoppable, tamper-proof web applications. We are currently looking for a talented AI Integrations Engineer to help us push the boundaries of what is possible, including running AI models directly within smart contracts. You will be part of a diverse team of over 250 experts, including cryptographers and distributed systems engineers, working from our new office in the heart of San Francisco on a hybrid basis.

What you'll be doing

• You will design and implement seamless connections between our developer tools and various public LLM APIs, such as those from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta.
• You will build and maintain resilient API middleware and wrappers to ensure smooth communication between the Internet Computer and AI services.
• You will develop intelligent automation solutions that utilize LLMs to significantly boost developer productivity and streamline workflows.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a passion for emerging technologies. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Rust, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Proven experience working with REST APIs and building complex system integrations.
• A working knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and distributed systems architecture.
• Professional fluency in English.
