About the Role
We are seeking a Junior AI Engineering and Enablement professional to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role focused on the practical delivery of internal AI projects. You will work within a small, agile team to identify opportunities for automation, develop rapid prototypes, and encourage the adoption of AI tools across our investment, finance, and operational departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify high-impact use cases across various business units and develop prototypes, workflows, and small applications to address them.
- Develop and maintain lightweight tools and integrations using Python or TypeScript, while utilizing Git and cloud services.
- Lead training sessions, host office hours, and create playbooks to facilitate widespread AI adoption and ensure safe, documented usage.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or an equivalent field of study.
- One to two years of professional experience in software engineering or consulting roles that involve direct interaction with customers.
- Practical experience in building and deploying applications that leverage GenAI tools and LLMs.
- Strong technical foundations in APIs, Python or TypeScript, Git, and cloud infrastructure.
- The ability to communicate clearly with non-technical team members and a comfort level with navigating ambiguity.
Location
This position is based in Canada and requires an on-site presence.
