Loop is on a mission to transform the supply chain by unlocking trapped profits and reducing costs for consumers through our advanced audit and pay platform. We leverage domain-driven AI to bring clarity to complex transportation data, helping industry leaders like J.P. Morgan Chase and Loadsmart optimize their workflows. We are looking for a Junior AI Engineer to join our team on-site in the United States to help us build and deploy the next generation of AI models and agentic workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models to solve real-world business challenges.
- Build and maintain scalable ML infrastructure to ensure high reliability for our training and inference systems.
- Orchestrate API-based LLMs to create automated AI agents.
- Contribute to backend engineering tasks to support our servicing and automation domains.
- Scale inference engines and refine multimodal LLMs to improve accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate domain expertise into effective technical solutions.
Must-haves
- At least one year of hands-on experience working with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- A strong grasp of fundamental machine learning algorithms, with a specific focus on multimodal LLMs.
- Proven ability to fine-tune LLMs and deploy them into production environments.
- Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- The ability to write and ship high-quality, production-ready code.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to working in a fast-paced, collaborative team.
- A commitment to staying current with the latest developments in AI research.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience working in a startup environment.
- End-to-end experience taking machine learning features from initial concept to full production deployment.
