About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our product and internal processes as we embark on our AI journey. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AI models within a distributed production environment. You will go beyond basic LLM implementation to develop bespoke AI solutions that automate workflows, generate valuable insights, and drive efficiency for our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop AI Systems: You will analyze complex problems and apply machine learning techniques to build a wide range of effective applications.
- Productionize and Monitor: You will take ownership of the full lifecycle, including model evaluation, deployment, and ongoing production monitoring.
- Collaborate on Data Infrastructure: You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and full-stack developers to build and maintain robust data pipelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in developing and deploying AI and machine learning solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Sklearn, or spaCy.
- A solid understanding of traditional machine learning techniques, including logistic regression, random forests, and GBM.
- Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning development lifecycles and experience deploying models to production.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field, though a Master’s or PhD is considered an advantage.
Location
This position is based in Australia and requires an on-site presence.
