About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level AI Engineer to join us on a contractor basis. In this role, you will take the lead on our AI initiatives, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced machine learning models. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure our AI strategy is both innovative and aligned with our core business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy Large Language Models and other AI solutions to address specific business challenges while ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Write high-quality, maintainable Python code and build robust APIs that allow our AI models to integrate seamlessly with both internal and external systems.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI models by utilizing MLOps best practices, monitoring performance in production environments, and ensuring all outputs meet ethical and privacy standards.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, specifically with hands-on work involving LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with industry-standard frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and the OpenAI API.
• Demonstrated experience deploying models within cloud environments, specifically Azure.
• A solid understanding of NLP, deep learning, and MLOps practices for model monitoring and version control.
• Strong communication skills in English, with a proficiency level of C1 or higher.
