At BitGo, we serve as the operational backbone of the digital economy. Since 2013, we have established ourselves as the leading infrastructure provider for digital asset solutions, offering custody, wallets, staking, and settlement services to thousands of institutions and millions of retail investors globally. We are currently looking for a Senior AI Enablement Engineer to join our team in Toronto. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will collaborate directly with our internal teams to build practical AI solutions that transform how we work.
What you'll be doing
- You will partner with our engineering, support, and operations teams to identify manual workflows and build durable, AI-driven prototypes that solve real-world constraints.
- You will take full ownership of the lifecycle for internal AI tools, including designing, deploying, and maintaining agentic workflows and copilots that improve speed and decision-making.
- You will establish best practices for AI safety, retrieval-augmented generation, and system observability while shaping our long-term strategy for internal AI adoption.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in backend engineering and a passion for applied AI. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional backend engineering experience with a focus on product and systems thinking.
- Proven experience building LLM-powered agents, AI copilots, or human-in-the-loop systems within a production environment.
- Practical knowledge of AI and machine learning techniques, such as vector stores, embeddings, context engineering, and working with LLM APIs.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and the ability to work on-site at our Toronto office.
What you'll get
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 CAD. In addition to your salary, you will receive:
