At Counterpart Health, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the healthcare landscape by empowering primary care physicians. Our flagship tool, the Counterpart Assistant, helps practitioners achieve better patient outcomes and manage chronic conditions more effectively through early diagnosis. We believe in driving value-based care at the speed of software, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us scale our internal capabilities by integrating the latest artificial intelligence into our daily operations.
About the Role
We are searching for a Senior AI Enablement Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position where you will serve as the primary bridge between our IT infrastructure and our AI strategy. You will be responsible for identifying, configuring, and deploying AI-powered tools that enhance the productivity of our product, engineering, and operations teams. Your work will ensure that our staff can leverage cutting-edge technology securely and reliably within our HIPAA-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement new AI platforms and tools, managing the end-to-end setup and driving widespread adoption across our organization.
- Address critical IT and security challenges by configuring authentication flows, managing access patterns, and ensuring all AI integrations meet our strict compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-leverage opportunities for workflow automation and provide the necessary documentation and training to make these tools accessible to non-technical staff.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in both engineering and infrastructure management. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Deep familiarity with the current AI landscape, including LLMs, coding assistants, and automation platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management, specifically regarding OAuth, SSO, SCIM provisioning, and cloud IAM.
- Proficiency in managing enterprise infrastructure, including containers, API integrations, and compliance-focused security tooling.
- A self-starting mindset with the ability to work autonomously to identify friction points and implement technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into practical value for your colleagues.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary range of $140,000 to $175,000 USD. In addition to financial compensation, we provide a robust benefits package designed to support your total well-being:
- Equity compensation and performance-based bonus opportunities.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Generous paid time off and maternity/paternity leave.
- A remote-first work environment with flexible hours.
- Dedicated funding and resources for professional development and mentorship.
