As we expand our global footprint into markets like Singapore, we are looking for an AI Director to join our team on an on-site, full-time basis. Key outcomes

• Lead the end-to-end AI and business intelligence strategy to democratize insights across our core business operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to define key metrics, influence product roadmaps, and drive business strategy through data.
• Architect and design advanced analytics solutions that address complex business challenges and support data-driven decision-making.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of machine learning projects, from initial data aggregation and exploratory analysis to model validation and production deployment.
• Develop and refine data models, automated reporting systems, and performance metrics to track business impact over time.
• Communicate technical findings and strategic insights effectively to diverse stakeholders, bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution.
• Continuously improve machine learning methodologies by conducting computational experiments and optimizing model parameters.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of industrial experience, including deep expertise in recommendation systems and at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven track record in data science or analytical roles involving complex modeling and data extraction.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including window and aggregate functions, and Python, with strong experience in libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn.
• Strong foundation in statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade machine learning systems, including feature engineering, data pipelines, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Practical experience utilizing deep learning frameworks, specifically PyTorch, to solve real-world problems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Previous experience in industries such as FinTech, eCommerce, SaaS, AdTech, or digital wallets.
• Familiarity with big data tools including Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Amplitude, or DataWorks.
• Demonstrated success in using analytics to drive company growth or revenue.
• Experience with large-scale application development practices.
