What you bring

We are looking for a Senior AI & Automation Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role you will design and deploy AI assistants and copilots that serve HR, Finance, Operations, and other departments while weaving generative AI into our everyday corporate systems. Your work will focus on three key areas: creating production-ready AI agents that automate real business tasks, building reliable integrations between AI platforms and tools such as Okta and our HRIS, and measuring the impact of these solutions so we can keep improving them. This position is open to candidates located anywhere.

• Design, build, and maintain AI assistants and copilots for multiple business units.
• Develop end-to-end automated workflows and integrations that connect AI platforms with corporate systems.
• Track automation performance, partner with Security and IT on compliant deployments, and refine solutions based on user feedback.

Requirements

You bring one to two years of direct experience working with major AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, or Azure OpenAI, along with three to five years in workflow automation, process automation, or data engineering. You are fluent in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript and comfortable building RESTful APIs, webhooks, and middleware that keep data flowing smoothly between systems. Hands-on experience with automation platforms like Okta Workflows, Zapier, Make.com, or n8n is essential, as is familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, identity management tools such as Okta or Azure AD, and cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to ethical AI practices complete the profile of the colleague we hope to welcome.

What we offer

Compensation for this position ranges from $97,000 to $127,000, with final offers determined by location and experience.
