About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AI Automation & Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of data engineering and artificial intelligence. You will be responsible for building the robust data foundations that power our company-wide automation initiatives. Rather than a traditional engineering role, you will be tasked with identifying automation opportunities across the business and using AI-driven tools to build scalable, intelligent systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and construct sophisticated data pipelines that fuel our AI automation systems.
- Develop end-to-end automation solutions using Python and workflow automation tools.
- Implement and maintain the data infrastructure required for RAG systems, agentic AI workflows, and real-time processing.
Requirements
We value talent and initiative above all else. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Extensive experience with Python and data pipeline technologies such as pandas, SQLAlchemy, and Airflow.
- A deep understanding of modern AI concepts, including RAG, agentic AI, and vector databases.
- Proficiency in workflow automation and full-stack development, specifically with JavaScript and React.
- A strong background in designing scalable data architectures that handle both structured and unstructured data.
- A self-directed mindset with the ability to own projects from conception to implementation without the need for micromanagement.
Location
This position is based in the United Kingdom and follows a hybrid work model.
Compensation and Benefits
We are committed to fostering a supportive and flexible work environment. As part of our team, you will benefit from:
- Hybrid work arrangements to balance your professional and personal life.
- The opportunity to work in a high-growth fintech environment alongside experts from academia and industry.
- A culture that emphasizes autonomy, rapid iteration, and the freedom to solve complex problems.
