The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior AI Application Engineer to join our innovative team in Taiwan. This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will play a key part in our current focus areas, which include the integration and fine-tuning of generative AI applications, the development of new Voice AI products, and the creation of an interactive multimedia social platform. You will be at the forefront of our technological breakthroughs, helping us push the boundaries of what is possible in the music and entertainment space.
A day in the life
- You will conduct research, design, and implement novel deep learning models, specifically focusing on singing voice synthesis and text-to-music systems.
- You will collaborate closely with musicians, front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to communicate technical details and ensure seamless project integration.
- You will evaluate cloud service costs and performance to make optimal architectural decisions while staying current with the latest academic papers and industry progress in AI music.
Who you are
You are a seasoned engineer with a passion for innovation and a strong background in machine learning. To be successful in this role, you should bring the following:
- More than 3 years of experience with Python or C++, with expert-level proficiency in at least one.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, particularly in fine-tuning transformers, diffusion models, or audio codec models.
- Proven ability to independently plan and implement CI/CD mechanisms for production services.
- A strong drive for problem-solving and a commitment to continuous growth.
- Bonus points if you have experience with cloud development, Infrastructure as Code, container technologies, or a background in music production software like MIDI and DAW.
- You are comfortable communicating in English as you collaborate across our international teams.
