We're building the enterprise AppStore that lets teams instantly find, request, and receive access to any application they need. Lumos is the fast-growing, a16z-backed platform untangling app and identity management for companies like GitHub, MongoDB, and Major League Baseball.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of agent pipelines by designing modular SDK components, enforcing production standards, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Architect composable agent SDKs that include built-in safety checks and reliable fallback mechanisms.
- Create tracing tools and alert dashboards that monitor agent performance and quality in real time.
- Own the full agent lifecycle, from chaining and testing through CI/CD pipelines to production rollout.
- Partner with security and operations teams to maintain agent governance, auditability, and compliance.
- Coach teammates on observability and resilience best practices across the engineering organization.
- Build customer-facing features across the stack, including React and TypeScript on the frontend, GraphQL and Apollo for data, and Python, Flask, and SQLAlchemy on the backend.
Must-haves
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI-driven workflows such as tool-calling systems, RAG pipelines, or autonomous agent orchestration with frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
- Strong command of API design, system performance, and modern software architecture.
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or Python, plus familiarity with React.
- Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including SCIM, OAuth2, SAML, and integrations with identity providers or HRIS platforms.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers in a high-growth environment.
- Background in observability tooling, alerting systems, or production monitoring for AI services.
