We are Aviya Aerospace Systems, a prominent provider of engineering services and solutions tailored for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. Our team delivers specialized expertise in software, hardware, mechanical, and systems engineering, alongside comprehensive program management for many of the industry's top-tier contractors. We are currently looking for an Aerospace Engineering Technical Lead to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in either Mississauga, Ontario, or Longueuil, Quebec. Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of engine health monitoring algorithms and manage acceptance testing in direct collaboration with our management team.
- Facilitate Integrated Product Technical meetings, lead technical reviews, and perform validation testing to ensure the successful integration of services into the CAMP EHM platform.
- Direct change management efforts to support the deployment and launch of new digital engine services while coordinating Engineering Coordination Memos and Interface Control Documents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in both technical engineering and project oversight. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in aviation, specifically focusing on digital services deployment and engine performance analysis.
- A professional certification in Project Management combined with proven experience managing complex programs.
- Strong proficiency in Agile development standards, data modeling techniques, and systems engineering.
- Experience with large-scale web application deployment, third-party application integration, and UI/UX design.
- Technical expertise in software version control, code verification, and configuration management processes.
- Excellent command of the English language, as you will frequently interact with international organizations, suppliers, and global colleagues.
