Role at a glance
We are seeking an Advanced Concepts Fluids Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Seattle, WA. This is a mid-level position for a motivated professional who wants to own the entire engineering lifecycle, from initial architecture and CAD modeling to hands-on testing and supplier coordination.
Your impact

- Own the design process by creating CAD models, performing sizing analysis for compressible and incompressible flow, and ensuring structural integrity for vehicle load cases.
- Manage the full lifecycle of your systems, including defining requirements, procuring parts through direct supplier coordination, and executing hands-on testing.
What you'll need
You should have a strong foundation in aerospace engineering principles and a drive to move fast in a collaborative environment. We value candidates who are self-directed and eager to learn.
- A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, with a deep understanding of thermodynamics, cryogenics, and fluid analysis tools like Python, Matlab, or Siemens AMESim.
- Extensive experience with CAD software, preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter, along with proficiency in GD&T and tolerance stackups.
- Hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly, and instrumentation such as pressure transducers and flow meters.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work within U.S. export control regulations.
