We are a people-first company backed by industry leaders, and we are looking for an experienced Ad Experience Product Manager to help us shape the future of television advertising.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy for our advertising experience, focusing on programmatic solutions to maximize revenue while maintaining a high-quality viewer experience.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, deploy, and monitor our next-generation server-side ad insertion services.
- Partner with ad operations, data science, and business teams to measure and optimize every stage of our ad delivery process.
- Direct data collection and analysis to form hypotheses, conduct experiments, and drive informed product decisions.
- Interface with external industry bodies like the IAB and MRC to ensure compliance and implement new standards.
- Act as a feature owner for multiple projects, guiding them from initial concept through scoping, implementation, and final analysis.
- Drive continuous improvements in the performance, security, and reliability of our ad services.
Must-haves
- At least 6 years of product management experience with a specific focus on digital advertising within the connected TV space.
- Proven track record of designing, building, and iterating on complex product experiences.
- Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and managing technical and business trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience building or integrating ad servers, demand-side platforms, or supply-side platforms.
- Deep familiarity with programmatic advertising platforms such as Publica, Freewheel, Google Ad Exchange, or Amazon APS.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards including VAST, VMAP, OpenRTB, and header bidding.
- Technical proficiency with SSAI using HLS or MPEG-DASH streaming technologies.
- Experience working with large datasets to make data-driven prioritization decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for various stakeholders.
