We are looking for a Senior Accounting Enablement Specialist to join our product team and help schools navigate the complexities of modern financial management. At Clarity, we are dedicated to helping families access great educational opportunities while empowering schools to operate as dynamic, successful organizations that serve the future of education.
Responsibilities
- Partner with our Sales and Customer Success teams to provide expert accounting guidance during the onboarding and integration process.
- Lead the implementation of our billing and accounting products, helping new schools manage their initial journal entries and reconciliation workflows.
- Analyze the unique accounting practices of each school to design and implement automated journal entry processes using tools like Excel macros.
- Facilitate the setup of accounting integrations, including QuickBooks and Sage Intacct, to ensure seamless adoption.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, including training documentation, guides, and instructional videos for both internal staff and our customers.
- Act as a bridge between our customers and our engineering team, translating real-world accounting needs into actionable product improvements.
- Manage multiple customer implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of service and organization.
Must-haves
- Deep expertise in accounting principles and practices, ideally supported by a CPA certification.
- Significant professional experience in accounting, with a strong preference for those who have worked within K-12 private schools.
- Advanced Excel skills, specifically the ability to build macros that automate complex journal entry tasks.
- Strong project management capabilities to keep customer engagements on track in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts to diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English.
