We are currently looking for a dedicated Accounting Administrator to join our finance team at Connect Hearing. Based in our downtown corporate office in Victoria, British Columbia, we specialize in providing hearing healthcare services. As a member of our finance department, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and play a vital role in maintaining our relationships with third party payers, managing retail leases, and overseeing our business licensing requirements. This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid work environment, and we are open to considering applicants who reside outside of Victoria for a fully remote arrangement.
Key outcomes
- Serve as the primary contact for third party administration, including managing accounts and setting up clinic staff.
- Handle all inquiries from internal and external stakeholders through prompt communication via phone and email.
- Oversee the setup of accounts for new clinic locations across all third party platforms.
- Manage the third party administration help desk independently.
- Ensure all clinic business licenses remain valid and manage provincial licensing processes.
- Maintain accurate records for retail leases and handle annual reconciliations provided by landlords.
- Support the broader finance department by performing clerk functions, such as processing daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions and completing basic statement reconciliations.
Requirements
- Completion of at least Grade 12 education.
- Previous experience working in an administrative or secretarial capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general internet navigation.
- Exceptional data entry skills characterized by high accuracy and efficiency.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering excellent service to stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Bonus assets include: Previous experience in an accounting setting, familiarity with the healthcare or hearing industry, and experience using computerized accounting systems.
Compensation
We offer an annual salary ranging from $45,000 to $50,000, depending on your experience. In addition to the base salary, our compensation package includes:
