We are looking for a passionate Account Manager to join our remote-first team and help us drive growth and customer success within our SMB portfolio.
Key outcomes
- Onboard new customers effectively to ensure they derive maximum value from our platform from the very start.
- Manage the full sales cycle for upsell opportunities, including conducting demos and closing contract renewals.
- Own the growth of your SMB customer portfolio by consistently meeting and exceeding Annual Recurring Revenue targets.
- Engage proactively with clients to understand their specific workflows and recommend the right features to boost their productivity.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to educate your customers on new platform features and paid modules.
- Maintain a deep understanding of your portfolio, identifying key accounts and high-potential opportunities by region.
- Act as a bridge to our product team by sharing customer insights that help shape our future development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a SaaS environment with a track record of driving customer expansion and revenue growth.
- Native or equivalent proficiency in both English and Italian.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build trust-based relationships with a diverse customer base.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
- An entrepreneurial mindset that allows you to take initiative and solve problems with minimal guidance.
- A high level of technical proficiency and the ability to quickly master new digital tools.
- Strong analytical thinking skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred qualifications
- Direct experience within the freight forwarding or logistics sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Salesforce, for pipeline management and performance tracking.
- Experience using data analysis to prioritize account efforts and drive maximum impact.
- Additional language skills beyond English and Italian.
