We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team at Rootly, where we are building the industry-leading incident management platform. Our mission is to help organizations worldwide resolve technical issues quickly and reliably, and we are currently carving out a brand new market segment in the process. With backing from top-tier investors like Y Combinator and trust from industry leaders such as NVIDIA, Figma, and Canva, we offer a transparent, high-growth environment where you can make a significant impact.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a dedicated book of business across North America to achieve full quota attainment.
- Lead the entire sales cycle for enterprise opportunities ranging from U$10K to over U$300K in annual recurring revenue.
- Position our platform as the premier choice for enterprise buyers by winning competitive deals.
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and executing strategies to penetrate high-value accounts.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing clients to increase account profitability.
- Nurture long-term strategic partnerships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Create and deliver compelling product narratives and business insights to executive stakeholders.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of experience selling enterprise software to both SMB and enterprise-level accounts.
- A proven track record of managing enterprise software quotas of at least U$1M.
- A consultative selling approach that focuses on teaching prospects and acting as a domain expert.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations and finalize bespoke commercial agreements.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, whether working remotely or in person.
- Comfort navigating complex organizations to reach economic buyers and close deals.
- The ability to thrive with autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Fluency in English and the ability to explain technical B2B SaaS solutions to technical stakeholders.
