At CrowdStreet, we are transforming the way private real estate investment works by building a bridge between sponsors and investors through our innovative SaaS and marketplace platform. As we continue to scale rapidly, we are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team at our Portland headquarters. We believe that success in this industry is built on deep relationships and a genuine understanding of the financial landscape, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for modernizing investment strategies.
The opportunity
This full-time, on-site role is a vital part of our sales organization. You will report directly to our Director of Sales and focus on bringing our technology solutions to commercial real estate investment managers. Because our industry is still evolving, you will act as both an educator and a consultant, helping firms understand the power of online fundraising. You will be expected to manage complex sales cycles with intelligence and agility, pivoting your approach to meet the unique needs of every client you engage.
A day in the life
- You will build and maintain a robust sales pipeline within Salesforce, working alongside a dedicated Sales Development Representative to identify and capture new opportunities.
- You will conduct consultative discovery sessions to uncover the specific pain points of investment firms, using your expertise to demonstrate how our platform acts as the ultimate partner for their fundraising goals.
- You will nurture long-term relationships with your accounts, proactively identifying opportunities to cross-sell and farm new business from existing customers.
Who you are
You are a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in SaaS, finance, or real estate. You possess the following qualifications:
- A proven track record of success in closing complex deals and managing high-value pipelines.
- A deep understanding of the real estate investment sector, allowing you to speak the language of our clients with confidence and authority.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport and trust through conversational, education-based selling.
- The ability to travel as needed to meet with clients within your territory and expand your professional network.
