About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Account Executive to join our growing organization. This mid-level position is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our mission while expanding your professional expertise. Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, you will work closely with a Fleet Associate to target universities, municipalities, and school districts. You will also collaborate with our internal teams, including legal and project development, to execute regional growth strategies and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative sales tactics to generate new leads through cold and warm outreach.
- Manage and nurture your sales pipeline by following up on qualified opportunities and maintaining detailed records in our CRM.
- Research industry trends and maintain deep product knowledge to effectively communicate our solutions, while spending approximately 50% of your time traveling within your assigned area of responsibility.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
- A proven track record of prospecting, engaging, and closing complex deals.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and various CRM systems.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment while managing travel planning and shifting priorities.
- A disciplined, self-motivated approach to problem-solving and relationship building.
- Prior knowledge of or a strong interest in electric vehicles and clean transportation is highly valued.
- Experience working with school bus dealers or school districts is considered a significant plus.
Location
This is a remote position with the ability to work from anywhere, provided you are able to manage the travel requirements within your assigned region.
