Metadata is looking for a Account Executive

We are Metadata, a fast-growing startup on a mission to transform B2B marketing through the power of AI and automation. Our platform is currently used by world-leading brands like Zoom, Drift, G2, and Okta to change how demand generation works. What is this role?

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is an executive-level position perfect for a strategic salesperson who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be based in either the United States or Canada and will play a key role in helping us disrupt the demand generation industry.

What will you do?

  • Manage a consultative sales process by conducting discovery meetings with inbound leads and leveraging your network to generate new outbound opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales engineering to lead high-impact product demonstrations that align our value proposition with the specific business objectives of your customers.
  • Take full ownership of your sales pipeline, maintain accurate forecasts, and consistently hit or exceed your quarterly and annual performance targets.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a natural communicator who can explain complex concepts simply and effectively. To succeed here, you should have:

  • At least 3 years of B2B sales experience, specifically selling to go-to-market roles like marketing and demand generation leaders.
  • A strong background in consultative sales, with a proven ability to manage complex deals with multiple stakeholders and contract values exceeding $50k.
  • Deep familiarity with Martech, digital advertising, and the current challenges facing B2B marketing teams.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, and a high level of comfort working in a rapidly changing startup environment.
