Account Executive at Modern Treasury

At Modern Treasury, we provide the essential infrastructure that allows businesses to move money with confidence. Over the last eight years, we have facilitated more than $400 billion in payments for hundreds of organizations. Our platform offers a single API for fiat and stablecoins, complete with built-in compliance, ledgering, and reporting tools. We are currently scaling our newer payment service provider product to meet significant inbound demand, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our mission of making money movement instant and reliable.

About the Role

We are seeking a Full Time Account Executive to join our sales team. This is a high-volume closing position where you will manage a fast-moving pipeline of new opportunities. You will engage with founders, CTOs, and heads of product to guide them from initial conversation to becoming a live customer. This role requires a balance of quick deal execution and strategic, consultative selling, and you will work closely with our Sales Engineers to navigate technical evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own your sales pipeline from end to end, ensuring consistent conversion of qualified opportunities into new business.
• Develop deep product fluency to effectively sell our technical, API-first solutions to a highly sophisticated audience.
• Manage expansion and cross-sell initiatives across our existing customer base to drive further growth.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a closing sales role.
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
• Exceptional skills in verbal and written communication, relationship management, and professional presentations.
• The ability to excel within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Bonus points for previous experience selling payments products or working with stablecoins.
