About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our business forward by promoting our advanced all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers across Japan. You will serve as a key advocate for our value proposition, ensuring that our clients fully understand how our solutions can solve their complex data challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of account plans to secure new business, utilizing internal resources to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure industry-leading customer satisfaction and solidify the value of our technology.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline while acting as a team leader to guide complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in outside sales, with a specific focus on business development and acquiring new accounts.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically within the manufacturing industry in Japan, demonstrating a deep understanding of the business challenges faced by these clients.
- Proven expertise in account planning, prospecting, and managing sales territories to maximize efficiency and revenue.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, allowing you to engage effectively with stakeholders ranging from data center staff to executive leadership.
- A challenger mindset with the ability to leverage creative insights and technical knowledge to provide sustainable solutions.
- A consistent track record of meeting sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
Location
This position is based on-site in Japan.
