The role

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in our Los Angeles office, where we work together in person from Monday through Friday. Reporting directly to our Head of Revenue, you will play a pivotal role as an early employee, driving our growth by managing technical, consultative sales processes for high-growth, venture-backed companies.

Core responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and prospective customers while actively generating and converting your own pipeline.
  • Develop and execute dynamic sales strategies to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations, collaborating closely with our engineering and machine learning teams to shepherd complex proofs of concept to successful outcomes.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in technical sales and a passion for developer tools. We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a startup environment.
  • A proven track record of exceeding quotas and developing effective sales processes within high-growth organizations.
  • Expertise in using tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Outreach to manage and optimize your sales workflow.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Bonus points if you have specific experience selling machine learning or data infrastructure products.
