What you bring

We are seeking a junior-level Account Executive to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Canada. You will be a key player in our technology sector, utilizing your expertise in communications, event management, and media relations to support our high-profile clients. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

• Drafting, editing, and proofreading essential materials such as press releases, pitch letters, and fact sheets while maintaining a high standard of writing.
• Conducting thorough research and analysis of the media landscape to identify opportunities for technology and business influencers.
• Providing comprehensive client service support, which includes managing meeting logistics, building media lists, and executing proactive media outreach strategies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in earned media or communications, specifically within the realms of enterprise technology, gaming, or consumer gadgets. You should have a deep understanding of the Canadian media landscape and a strong grasp of how public relations tools impact client success. We value candidates who have experience with media monitoring software and the ability to analyze coverage tone and message pull-through. Proficiency in English is required, and we look for individuals who demonstrate curiosity, a commitment to excellence, and the courage to do the right thing. Previous experience in a PR agency setting is considered a significant advantage.
