What is this role?
We are seeking a mid-level Account Executive to join our sales team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in New York City. You will be responsible for driving revenue through our various media channels, working with a consultative approach to help clients find the best advertising solutions for their needs. We typically manage deals ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 per year, and we are looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of their territory and grow our portfolio of local and national accounts.
What will you do?
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across our digital, print, and live event platforms to ensure we meet or exceed our revenue targets.
- Manage your sales pipeline effectively using HubSpot, while collaborating with our internal teams to handle ad trafficking, billing, and campaign delivery.
- Represent our brand at industry events, where you will build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to support our long-term growth.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be a strong communicator with a proven history of hitting sales goals. We require 3 to 5 years of experience in advertising or media sales, specifically in a client-facing capacity. You should be comfortable with negotiation and presentations, and you must have experience using CRM software to track your progress and report on metrics. A solid understanding of digital media is essential, and any previous experience with event sponsorship sales would be a significant advantage. You must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City to be considered for this position.
