The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead the growth of our health and sports division within the U.S. market. In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between our advanced motion capture technology and the researchers, biomechanics labs, and robotics departments that rely on our tools to innovate. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle, and cultivating long-term relationships with academic and industry leaders. This is a remote position that offers you the chance to work at the intersection of high-tech hardware and scientific research, reporting directly to our Head of Global Sales.
A day in the life
- Proactively identify and develop new business leads, managing your sales pipeline from initial outreach to closing, while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Conduct on-site demonstrations of our motion capture technology for university researchers, engineering teams, and clinical professionals to showcase the value of our solutions.
- Collaborate with our marketing, technical support, and operations teams to develop strategic sales plans and ensure our clients receive exceptional service and support.
Who you are
You are a results-oriented sales professional with a deep appreciation for technical innovation. You have a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the high-tech, robotics, or health sectors. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and are just as effective at managing a CRM as you are at presenting to a room of scientists.
- You bring at least 5 years of experience in technical sales, specifically with hardware and software solutions or scientific instrumentation.
- You possess a background or strong interest in fields such as biomechanics, movement science, physiotherapy, or robotics engineering.
- You are a self-starter who is comfortable traveling up to 40% of the time to meet with clients and represent Xsens at conferences.
- You have excellent communication skills in English and are proficient with modern data analytics and CRM tools.
