Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead our enterprise sales strategy in Japan. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Japan. You will report directly to our Global VP of Sales and the Head of Sales for APAC, working closely with our international teams to disrupt the energy landscape.
Your impact
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Japanese market.
- Collaborate with our product teams to refine our value proposition and ensure our messaging resonates with enterprise utility clients.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on the energy tech landscape, providing key insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and strategic opportunities.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of closing complex enterprise software deals. We are looking for someone who excels at navigating high-level negotiations and building long-term strategic partnerships. You must be native or bilingual in Japanese and fluent in English. Additionally, you should be a collaborative team player who is comfortable with both domestic and international travel. While not required, deep experience in the energy tech sector and an existing network of industry contacts in Japan would be a significant advantage.
