Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to lead our sales efforts in Japan. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Japan. You will report directly to our Global VP of Sales and the Head of Sales for APAC, acting as the primary expert for our Kraken Technologies and KrakenFlex platforms as you build and manage our local sales operations.
Your impact
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing a robust sales strategy tailored to the Japanese market.
- Collaborate with our product teams to refine our value proposition and ensure our messaging resonates with enterprise utility clients.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on the energy industry, maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to position Kraken as the clear market leader.
What you'll need
- A proven track record of success in closing complex enterprise software deals.
- Exceptional skills in negotiation and the ability to lead high-level strategic conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Japanese and professional fluency in English.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly across national and global teams.
- Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
- Bonus points if you have experience in the energy-tech sector or an established network of contacts within the Japanese energy industry.
