The role
We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Japan. In this high-impact role, you will lead our sales efforts for Kraken Technologies and KrakenFlex, reporting directly to our Global VP of Sales in London and the Head of Sales in APAC. You will serve as a primary expert on our cloud software platforms, building and leading a dedicated sales team to disrupt the traditional energy landscape in Japan.
Core responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and expand our client base by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for the Japanese market.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine our value proposition and effectively position our technology platform against incumbent competitors.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on the energy industry, utilizing your deep market knowledge to lead strategic conversations with senior-level stakeholders.
Skills and experience
- A proven track record of success in building and closing complex enterprise software deals.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to present effectively to executive-level clients.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Japanese and professional fluency in English.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly across national and global teams.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Prior experience in the energy-tech sector and an established network of industry contacts in Japan are highly valued.
