What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Japan where you will lead our sales efforts for Kraken Technologies. You will report directly to our Global VP of Sales in London and the Head of Sales in APAC. This position is perfect for an experienced professional who is ready to drive our mission in a new market and sell advanced technology that accelerates the future of energy systems.

What will you do?

  • Drive revenue growth and expand our client base throughout Japan.
  • Collaborate on product messaging and help define the value proposition for our Kraken software platform and technology suite.
  • Establish yourself as an expert on the energy industry, the Japanese market, and our specific software services to position us as a clear leader in the space.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of closing enterprise-level software deals. You are comfortable navigating complex negotiations with senior stakeholders and initiating strategic conversations. We value team players who can collaborate effectively across national and global offices. Because this role involves significant interaction with international partners, you must be native or bilingual in Japanese and fluent in English. You should also be prepared to travel both domestically and internationally as needed. While not required, experience in the energy-tech sector and an existing network of industry contacts in Japan would be a significant advantage.
