The role

We are seeking a Lead Account Director to join our Solution Sales team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position designed for experienced sales professionals who thrive in consultative environments. Whether you prefer working from our offices in Washington, DC, New York, or Chicago, or working remotely from anywhere, you will play a critical role in our ambitious growth agenda by helping Fortune 500 clients leverage our custom research and data solutions.

Core responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle for a portfolio of 1-5 major accounts, from initial outreach and discovery meetings to proposal development and final contract negotiations.
  • Drive sustainable growth by identifying new opportunities within existing client organizations and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and heads of marketing or insights.
  • Collaborate across our internal teams, including Research, Data Operations, and Customer Success, to ensure our analytic solutions directly address client challenges and meet our internal performance targets.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on sales expertise. We value candidates who possess the following:

  • At least 10 years of experience in enterprise sales, specifically involving consultative services or custom solutions.
  • A proven track record of hitting growth targets and managing complex, multi-million-dollar deals.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and a background in marketing, communications, or brand strategy.
  • Proficiency in English and a willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to engage with clients and partners.

Compensation and benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $125,000 to $206,000. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for variable compensation and an equity grant. We are committed to supporting our team members through:
