We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Account Development Specialist. In this role, you will be on the front lines of our customer engagement efforts, helping us grow our reach and build lasting partnerships with end-users and engineering firms across the United States.
What is this role?
This is a full-time, on-site position designed for a junior-level professional who is eager to build a strong foundation in sales. You will act as an individual contributor, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing accounts until they reach a point of maturity where they can be transitioned to our Sales Engineering team. It is a fast-paced role that requires a blend of technical curiosity and a passion for direct communication.
What will you do?
- Proactively generate new leads through cold calling, email outreach, and networking to meet territory sales targets.
- Collaborate with our internal teams to prepare compelling sales proposals, technical presentations, and product demonstrations for our clients.
- Manage your daily activities and client data within our CRM systems to ensure accurate reporting and effective follow-up on all quotations.
What makes you a great fit?
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and comfortable in a customer-facing environment. To be successful, you should bring the following:
- A four-year degree, ideally in a technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- One to three years of experience in sales, specifically within the electronics or industrial automation and controls sectors.
- Strong proficiency in English and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- A high level of comfort with lead generation, sales presentations, and utilizing automation tools to stay organized.
- The ability to travel for work, including overnight trips, and the physical capability to handle equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
What's in it for you?
We believe in supporting our employees both professionally and personally. By joining our team, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- A 401k retirement plan with company matching.
- Life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance.
- Generous paid time off.
- Industry-leading maternity leave of 16 weeks and paternity leave of 10 weeks, both fully paid.
- Additional perks such as an auto allowance and ongoing professional development opportunities.
