At nTop, we are dedicated to creating next-generation engineering solutions that change how the world develops, tests, and manufactures products. Our software empowers global innovators to build everything from mission-critical satellites to advanced medical implants with incredible speed and precision. We are looking for ambitious, smart teammates who thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about solving complex problems with cutting-edge technology.
What is this role?
We are searching for a driven Academic Program Manager to join our team in a full-time, senior-level capacity. This is a hybrid position where you will play a vital role in growing our footprint within the academic community. You will be responsible for building lasting partnerships with universities and research institutions, ensuring that the next generation of engineers is equipped with our tools during their formative years. You will report directly to the Director of Product Support and can work remotely or from our New York office.
What will you do?
- Design and execute comprehensive strategies to increase the adoption of nTop software across global academic institutions and training programs.
- Build and nurture meaningful relationships with educators, researchers, and university stakeholders to integrate our technology into their curriculum and research projects.
- Collaborate across internal departments, including marketing, sales, and engineering, to advocate for academic users and ensure our tools meet the specific needs of the educational sector.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in program management, education, or customer engagement, specifically within the software or engineering industries. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or a related field, with a Master’s degree being a strong plus.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally with a track record of developing curriculum or instructional materials.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and a high level of attention to detail.
- Familiarity with engineering software tools like CAD or CAE.
- Fluency in English and a willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time to visit universities or our headquarters.
What's in it for you?
We offer a competitive annual salary range of $115,000 to $125,000, depending on your experience. In addition to your compensation, you will enjoy the following perks:
- The flexibility of remote work options.
- Flexible hours to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
