Role at a glance

This is a full-time, on-site position based in NYC. We are seeking a seasoned Lead level professional to provide technical guidance and build reusable solutions for our Business Insurance data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between high-level architectural strategy and day-to-day execution.

Your impact

• Collaborate with business leaders to leverage technology for growth, focusing on operational reporting and advanced analytics.
• Assist the Portfolio Architect with ETL design and solutions while maintaining plans to address architectural gaps.
• Mentor team members on implementation standards and best practices while managing key stakeholder relationships across the organization.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone who brings deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. To be successful, you should have:

• Seven to eight years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio, including both basic and advanced ETL concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and creating marts or views in Oracle.
• A comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end ETL landscape, from source systems to final reporting.
• A four-year degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• The ability to navigate a highly-matrixed organization with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A knack for identifying root causes, evaluating risks, and making sound, timely decisions.
• Fluency in English.
