We are a world-leading architectural and design practice looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. You will work from our stunning offices in the United Kingdom, providing essential technical assistance to our staff across three locations while contributing to a variety of ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive IT support by managing requests through our ticketing system, handling phone calls, and assisting with walk-up queries.
- Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues for employees.
- Manage the setup and configuration of audio and visual conferencing equipment.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve issues related to bespoke software applications.
- Keep our internal technical documentation accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with the wider team to plan and implement various IT project initiatives.
Must-haves
- Proven experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support, including both phone and face-to-face interactions.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013-2016 and Microsoft Office 365 administration.
- Experience using incident management and helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Practical experience with desktop rollouts.
- A foundational understanding of infrastructure services, specifically DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Familiarity with telephony systems such as Nortel and Skype for Business Online.
- Excellent organizational skills, a self-motivated mindset, and the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of staff.
- Fluency in English.

The salary for this position is between £34,000 and £44,000 per year.
