What you bring
We are searching for a Senior 2D Game Animator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the world while collaborating with our game development department. You will focus on the following core responsibilities:
- Designing expressive, stylized character animations that sync perfectly with music beats to elevate the player experience.
- Animating interface elements like menus and transitions to ensure our UI feels polished and dynamic.
- Partnering with our developers and designers to integrate your work into the engine and optimize performance without sacrificing visual quality.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of animation principles such as weight, timing, and spacing. We require proficiency in industry-standard tools including Spine, After Effects, and the Unity Animator. You should have a solid background in 2D skeletal animation and character rigging, along with the ability to adapt your style to fit various art directions. Excellent communication in English is essential, as you will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team. We value candidates who are eager to learn, open to constructive feedback, and possess a genuine passion for playing and studying games. An awareness of mobile performance constraints is also highly important for this position.
