23/24 MS/HS Social Studies Certified Teacher - Virtual at Elevate K-12: Teach With Us

We are currently seeking a certified Social Studies teacher to join our remote network for the remainder of the current school year.

Key outcomes

• Deliver synchronous Social Studies instruction to students in grades 6 through 12 using our proprietary virtual classroom portal.
• Serve as the teacher of record for school districts, utilizing our prepared curriculum to facilitate engaging lessons.
• Collaborate with our internal teams, including your dedicated Academic Coach and the on-site Classroom Coach, to drive student success.
• Participate in our comprehensive, paid training program to master our virtual teaching environment.
• Manage administrative tasks such as grading and lesson preparation, for which you will be compensated.

Requirements

• A valid, verifiable Social Studies teaching certification within the United States.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Previous experience working with students in the 6-12 grade range.
• Availability to work a part-time schedule of 5 to 25 hours per week, including a consistent daily block of at least three consecutive hours between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm EST.
• Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a personal laptop or desktop computer.
• A genuine passion for teaching and student development.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $20,000. In addition to your base pay, we provide compensation for administrative duties, professional development, and training sessions. You may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and stipends.
