Sport Zone is part of the JD Group, which includes Sport Zone, Sprinter, JD Sports, and Size?. Together they are leaders in multi-brand and omnichannel sports retail in the Iberian Peninsula, with over 450 stores and 10,000 employees in Portugal and Spain. Founded in 1997 in Portugal, the company expanded internationally starting in 2008. In 2018, Sport Zone joined the Iberian Sports Retail Group (ISRG), the largest sports retailer in the Iberian Peninsula, operating more than 400 stores and 5 online stores with over 10,500 employees. In 2023, ISRG was acquired by the British JD Group. Sport Zone offers over 300 brands including Adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Fila, Asics, and its own brands.
